More Special Training for Our Special Sisters

        The number of new Sisters continues to increase and so does the need for ongoing training and encouragement for these lovely and strong daughters of God. That is why on June 25th, 26th, and 27th we did another round of Special Sister Training Conferences, this time including the Spanish Hermanas who previously had not been included since they had been involved in the special Spanish Conferences. Like last time, conferences were held in Louisville, Lexington, and Evansville. 
        During this installment the focus was on working with the Bishops and Ward MIssion Leaders, and using the Book of Mormon to contact and teach and how to get people to commit to read it and see the Spirit to confirm its truthfulness. President Woodbury, the Assistants to the President, Elder Daynes and Elder Quick, and the Sister Training Leaders, Sister Mickelsen and Sister Vikari, Sister West and Sister Hodges, and Hermana Velasquez and Hermana Christensen, all taught, trained, and conducted practice and role-plays, on their subjects. There was also a workshop on bike maintenance which included how to change a bike tire.  Lunch was from Little Ceasars Pizza.
        Looking toward the future, we will be having a special New MIssionary Training series of conferences for the newer Elders and Sisters and their Trainers July 30th through August 2nd.

        And why isn't Sister Woodbury visible in these pictures?
