MLC in November

        It used to be that on the first Tuesday of each month, the Zone Leaders, Assistants to the President, and President Woodbury would meet for Zone Leader Council. As of last Spring, the name has now changed to MIssion Leadership Council, and additionally includes the eight Sister Training Leaders and Sister Woodbury. Some things haven't changed, like having everyone serenade President and Sister Woodbury from the front walkway of the Mission Home. (as opposed to the Mission Office)

        It hasn't changed that there is an opening song and prayer, announcements, and calendaring as well as "Tune-Ups" by PResident Woodbury. What has changed is that in addition to the Zone Leaders doing their Zone Accountabilities, the Sister Training Leaders likewise report now on their areas and stewardships. Changes from months to month additionally occur when new members are initiated, so to speak at the first MLC. This time it was Sister Munk, Sister Roberts, Elder Carson, Elder Blauer, and Elder C. Anderson, who were the new kids on the block.

        After a delicious lunch, there is training and instruction presented for everyone to take back to their Zones or Sister Areas. President Woodburys wraps it up, then those leaders who will be leaving for home in the next month, bear their testimonies, and we have a closing song and prayer. A group picture is taken, then there is mingling, individual meetings and Temple Recommends with President Woodbury, and miscellaneous thises and thats.
