The Great Kentucky Louisville Mission - 2: Evansville Zone Conference

The first of the October Zone Conferences was held with the Evansville Zone, or rather "The Converted Evansville Zone" as they call themselves, in, you guessed it, Evansville, Indiana.

In the morning we had Recitals, Instruction, Bike Safety and Tune-Ups by President Woodbury, and talks by Elder Lewis, Stake President Stanfill, and Sister Woodbury.

Then it was time for GKLM Jeopardy with categories like "Book of Mormon," "Follow the Prophet," "Clean-Living," "Now is the Time," "Missionary Life," "Pests," "Let's Get This Right" (Commandments), and "Ride-On" (Bike-Safety). Winners got a giant Kit-Kat bar.

After a delicious lunch prepared by the Relief Society, everyone sang "Called to Serve" for the sisters, then it was back to the business of the day.

Testimonies were born by Elder Lewis, Elder Ith, Sister Wooden, Elder and Sister Foote, and Elder Thompson, who will be going home before the next Zone Conference. Then the Zone Conference was over and everyone said their goodbyes for now, but not before lots of pictures were taken, and everyone did some Trick-or-Treating in the cultural hall.
