Elder Moorhouse and Elder Fry went up to the stand and told a success story about one of their Investigators, and Elder Lipsh and Elder Hicken told of a success contacting experience.
Stake President Stanfield  spoke about his personal feelings about the Book of Mormon, then President Woodbury took some time to talk about driving and car safety, and showed and talked about several correlating DVD clips.
The Jasper District, along with the Zone Leaders, did a beautiful musical number

President Woodbury
After a break, Sister Woodbury gave a talk on a Christ-like attribute, this time, patience. The Assistants also Sister Woodbury passed out surveys regarding apartment conditions, exact obedience to Missionary Handbook expectation, and cleanliness. President Woodbury talked about the results, kept privately, of the Obedience Survey, which has now been given out four times, followed by general "Tune-ups". Lunch was great, and after the tasty meal, the missionaries, as customary, sang "Called to Serve" to thank the wonderful Sisters who provided it for us.

Then it was back to the Conference.

Sister Woodbury gave out prizes for the winners of the Cleanliness Survey, the prizes being containers of her world famous, or at least, GKLM-famous chocolate chip cookies. Singing time was next, with Sister Holt and her magic fingers at the piano and Sister Woodbury leading the group in going through the “GKLM Missionary Medley.”

Another break, then everyone went with their Zone for Zone Meeting and Training, led by the Zone Leaders, Elder Lutz and Elder Gardner. As part of the training, the Zone Leaders had devised an ingenious relay/role-play game simulating the steps different Investigators need to make in order to come into the Church. The Elders playing the missionary part were challenged to the max, but thankfully, we they eventually recovered. They put their whole heart and might into the game just like they do in real missionary work.

Afterward, back in the main room, the missionaries heard some wrap-up items and encouragement from President Woodbury, and the testimonies of those missionaries who will be going home before the next Zone Conference:
Sister Beukers, Elder Henderson, Elder Beukers, Elder Biddle, Elder Christopherson, Elder Clark, Eler Lutz, and Elder Smith.
At the end, as everyone left the room, Sister Woodbury had envelopes for each person with photos that she had taken since last Zone Conference, and also chocolate chip cookies, two each, and copies of the Trumpet newsletter for which she is responsible. The Zone Leaders additionally gave each person a bag of candy corn with their Zone logo (GKLM Sweetly Bold Evansville Zone) affixed, which they held
Moving into the gym, Zone and small group pictures were taken, and lots of visiting and hearty missionary hugs ensued.

As the lights were turned off inside, everyone girded up their loins, so to speak, took a last deep breath of the cool air-conditioned church air, and bravely stepped out into the oppressive heat and humidity outside.

Oh, the joys of summertime in Indiana, and Kentucky...
