The Belle of Louisville

belle [bɛl]

1. a beautiful girl or woman

2. the most attractive or admired girl or woman at a place, function, etc. (esp in the phrase the belle of the ball) 

        On Saturday , July 21st, the couples of the GKLM had an outing on the Belle of Louisville, the delightful riverboat docked in the Ohio River by downtown.  With the exception of the Selvages, serving in McKee and the Bryners who are serving as Family History missionaries in Evansville, all of our couples were there:

the Youngs, serving in Monticello,KY; 

 the Doriuses, serving in Tell Cit, IN, 

the Leavitts who are in Olney, IL, 

the Olsens in Beattyville, 

the Ericksons in Scottburg, 

the Warners and the Lewises from the Mission Office, 

and President and Sister Woodbury. 

We asked someone to snap a shot for us, but strangely enough, they didn't get everyone in the picture!!!

     Boarding the Belle in the late morning, the group enjoyed a tasty lunch, music and other entertainment, and time for relaxing end enjoying the breeze on the open decks. It was great to be together, to get to know each  other better and have a little riverboat experience on the Ohio River. It was un-belle-ievably fun!
