For two weeks, President and Sister Woodbury travelled around the mission, visiting every District and interviewing every missionary. After each District Meeting, which included the Accountabilities of each companionship, President and Sister Woodbury went into nearby rooms to interview and Elder Warner and Elder Daynes, the Assistants to the President, did special training and role-plays. One of the topics of the training was personal purification. Everyone is to do a forty-day fast from things that are keeping them from reaching their full potential as servants of the Master and fully engaged in the mission. Each person has personal weaknesses and stumbling blocks to overcome, between them and the Lord, but some of the things mentioned were thinking about what is going at home, basketball, significant others they left behind, sleeping in, not being exactly obedient, spending too much time at members' homes, etc. This lead into how to teach investigators the language of the Spirit and how to recognize it as it bears witness that the things that are being taught are true.
Pictures taken the second week follow and the ones for the first week are in the previous post. |
