September Mission Leadership Council

        It was the first time for newly-called Zone Leaders Elder Sizelove, Elder Carly, Elder Dopp, Elder Stohel, and Elder Whitehead, and Sister Training Leaders Sister Jensen and Sister Kuenzle, but everyone else knew the drill: gather on the front sidewalk at the Mission Home, ring the doorbell, and while President and Sister Woodbury are opening the door, start singing, "Ye Elders of Israel."

        Once inside, the newcomers were shown the way downstairs to the Training Room, where the meeting began. The Council, they found, consists of the fourteen Zone Leaders, the eight Sister Training Leaders, the two Assistants to the President, and the President and his wife, Sister Woodbury. 

        During the proceedings, calendar items were outlined, goals and mission objectives set forth, Tune-Ups given by the President, and an opportunity for each companionship to reprot on the work being done in their individual stewardships. 

After lunch, teaching and training occurred, including role-plays, which were to be taken back to the other missionaries throughout the mission. Hermana Arreola bore her testimony since she will be going home before the next Mission Leadership Council, and the meeting ended, about 4:00 pm. 

        No MLC would be complete without a group photo to commemorate the occasion. 

Then, as is the pattern, everyone got to have a little fun, this time in a sort of conga line.

and Sister West headed up the Sisters'/Hermanas, separated, because they are, after all,  missionaries. :)  

Afterward, the Sisters/Hermanas met with Sister Woodbury for a few minutes, and at one point ended up balancing books on their heads to show their good posture. (Don't ask why, it just happened...)
