It was a cold start to a warm Mission Leadership Council with the traditional singing greeting on the front walkway that for the first time was icy and surrounded by snow.
At the end of the Council day, shaking it up, the group photo was taken, using a tripod as is the norm, with the full extension, atop a chair, on the stairs doing down to the basement where the Council is held. In between the two photos there was an opening and closing, calendaring, Tune-Ups by the President, issues discussed, items to take back to the Zones, reports and Accountabilities from each Zone Leader companionship and Sister Training Leader pair, and instruction and training by President Woodbury and the Assistants to the President, Elder Hicken and Elder Evans. Sister Woodbury had prepared a tasty lunch of her homemade lasagna, salad, buttery bread, and peach cobbler with ice-cream, which was served midday by a member who did the final prep and clean-up afterward.
By 4:00 everyone had a plethora of ideas, information, and inspiration to take back to their respective stewardships.
On the way up from the Training Room, everyone stopped for a picture, shown above, and as usual, a little fun, shown below:
| We're crammed here on these stairs and its.... HIS fault! |
| Let me out of here! |
