I Looked Out the Window and What Did I See? ...MLC!

This beautiful scene was caught on camera last week as I looked out the window at the Mission Home.
And this beautiful scene as we looked out the window, then opened the door last Tuesday (May 6th):
It was the Mission Leadership Council, who instead of singing something like "Called To Serve" or "We'll Bring the World His Truth," opted for something befitting the spectacular Spring day on which they were gathered. And, of course, they did the actions.

Once inside and settled in downstairs in the Training Room, aka family room, the meeting began. After calendar items and explanation and clarification on several mission-wide policies and goals, it was time for Zone Leader and Sister-Training Leader reports. Tune-Ups by President Woodbury started before lunch and continued afterward and included having professional relationships between Elders and Sisters, our policy about meals with members, phone calls and texts for missionary business only, and Key Indicator and Standard of Excellence clarifications. Training included this month's Faith Ladder, Sister Dickerson and Sister Bayles telling about the very successful MMTC - Member Missionary Training Center classes they have done, President and Sister Woodbury instructing about teaching for understanding and raising the vision of investigators using John 3 and 4, and the Assistants to the President, Elder Whitehead and Elder Dopp, instructing and conducting role-plays about obedience and love. There were also directives and discussion concerning "The Book of Mormon Musical" that is coming to Louisville May 27th through June 8th. Testimonies were given by those missionaries heading home next week, namely Elder Whitehead, Elder Loser, and Elder Anderson, and Sister Dickerson who is ending her time as a Sister Training Leader and going back to normal, whatever that is, missionary service her last few months.
It was a great meeting and a great day, and we celebrated by doing our picture outside in the front yard.
