We've been hearing about Elder Jones for quite sometime now, and we finally got him here! Elder Jones had originally been scheduled to join us in July, but because of a re-injury after surgery on his ankle, he had to wait at the MTC until he was able to get around again. But, he was worth the wait. He is charged and raring to go!
Coming back to Louisville from the Evansville Zone Conference last Tuesday, we met Elder Jones at the Mission Office where the Warners had been getting him oriented about financial matters, having him fill-out forms, and watch the Car Safety DVD everyone has to see before they can drive here in the mission. After dinner with us and his interview with the President, Elder Jones got to meet his Trainer, Elder Warner, and get settled into his first apartment and area. We saw him at Louisville Central and Louisville West Zone Conference on Thursday and he looked great. Welcome to the Great Kentucky Louisville Mission!
